We welcome manuscripts that align with OM MEDIA’s mission: spiritual, devotional, cultural, and educational works in Bengali and English. Please read the submission guidelines carefully before sending your manuscript.
Submission Guidelines
1. Format
Manuscript file: PDF or DOCX
Font: Unicode for Bengali (e.g., SutonnyMJ, Rupali, or any Unicode Bengali font) when submitting in Bengali.
Word counts:
Short book / novella: 10,000 – 40,000 words
Standard book: 40,000 – 80,000 words
Long-form / research: 80,000+ words
2. Accompanying documents
- One-page synopsis (max 500 words)
- Author bio (100–200 words)
- Sample chapter(s) or full manuscript
- Any references or permissions (if using translated or copyrighted materials)
3. Originality
Submit only original works. For translations or adapted texts, provide proof of permission.
4. Editorial process
Manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial team. If selected for publication, we will contact you for editing, design, and contractual terms.
5. Copyright & Rights
Authors retain moral rights. Publishing contract will specify territorial and format rights (print, eBook, audio).
6. Response time
We strive to acknowledge receipt within 7–14 days. Editorial review may take 4–10 weeks depending on queue.
